Raed Faridzadeh was born 1978 in Mashad. He studied theoretical economics, German literature, comparative literature and philosophy at universities of Tehran, Vienna, and Berlin. After obtaining a doctorate in literature and philosophy at the University of Fry- Berlin and collaborating with the Asian Studies Research Institute of this university, he started to work as faculty member and lecturer in School of Literature and Humanities in Shahid Beheshti University. Faridzadeh is in charge of Tehran University Printing & Publications since 2013 and is also the Head of Central Library and Documents Center of Shahid Beheshti University since 2014. Cooperation with Iranian Youth Cinema Society, Documentary and Experimental Film Center, and international and festival section of Farabi Cinema Foundation are among other activities of Raed Faridzadeh. He is currently the member of Supreme High Council of Farabi Cinema Foundation and also member of Licensing Council for feature films in Khorasan Razavi province.
