Sugar Palace in Cinema Verite

Iranian filmmaker, Mohsen Eslamzadeh, is in the 11th Iran International Documentary Film Festival, Cinema Verite, to present his latest documentary, "Sugar Palace".

The documentary is about: "Jalil Qanbar-zehi, one of the terrorists whom the security forces have long sought to capture. He is the Abu Bakr Baghdadi of eastern Iran and has been living secretly in Pakistan for many years. It is reported that Jalil has come to Iran to lead terrorist groups and intends to carry out some terrorist attacks ..."
This 60-minute film is produced by Ofoq TV Channel in 2017, and is going to be screened for the first time in Cinema Verite, Shaheed Avini Section.
Mohsen Eslamzadeh was born in 1980 in Mashhad, and has gained national and international attention his documentary "Alone Among the Taliban". "Sunnis of Iran" and "The Secrets of the Abu-Salim Prison" are his other documentaries.
