Palestinian documentary "Roshima" at Cinema Vérité

"Roshima" by Palestinian filmmaker Salim Abu Jabal is going to be screened at the Special Screenings of the 11th Iran International Film Festival " Cinema Vérité".
This 70-minute documentary is: "the story of an elderly Palestinian refugee couple in a final standoff with the Israeli authorities to maintain their lifestyle in Roshmia, the last natural valley in Haifa."
"Roshima" has been featured in the official section of IDFA Film Festivals in Amsterdam, Holland, and DOXA in Vancouver, Canada, and has also been the winner of the Golden Award of Arab Film Festival, the Grand Prix of the International Film Festival for the Mediterranean, the Jury Special Prize of the Dubai Film Festival, the Best Documentary Award in the MedFilm Festival, Italy and the Jury Special Prize of the Algerian Film Festival.
Salim Abu Jabal began his professional career as a film critic and journalist, and then started directing films and television programs.
Special Screenings is one of non-competitive sections of Iran International Film Festival, which features selected films from noteworthy international festivals.
